About 20 km north of Ljungby in Småland, Sweden, the airport is beautifully placed in one of Swedens best thermal areas, surrounded by large areas of free airspace.

The club operates from the airfield of Alingsås and is among the largest gliding clubs in the country.

The club is currently rebuilding its infrastructure at a new airport; a new club house, new hangars and a new runway.

Offers full-time-towing all days from the middle of May to the middle of August.

The club has flying activities every weekend from the beginning of April until the end of September.

Here you'll find a 1400 meter grass field, a club-house with hangar, workshop, restaurant, showers and sauna.

Operates from Johannisberg, southeast from Västerås.
