This web site was constructed for the purpose of promoting recreational flying at Hat Creek Rim and to make your visit there as enjoyable as possible. Hat Creek Rim has been flown by hang gliders since 1975 and is now a popular site for both paragliding and hang gliding. The consistent summer ridge and thermal soaring, evening glass-off, two-wheel drive roads, bathroom at launch, nearby store, restaurant and campground, abundance of other recreational activities and rare natural beauty are what make Hat Creek Rim the destination site that it is. Visit it yourself and you too will return year after year to enjoy all that Hat Creek Rim has to offer.

Gated residential community with a lighted MIRL 4800' x 50' asphalt runway, open to the public and outfitted with state-of-the-art multiple stage pilot operated lighting controls, including PAPI lights, VASI lights, Hali-Brite CD-600 REIL strobe lights and RNAV / GPS approaches. The 506-acre Airpark offers (75-total) three-acre to seven-acre home sites, each with taxiway frontage and underground utilities, snuggled into dense Ozark Mountain hardwood and pine forests of North Central Arkansas.
